Gia is a docile but also playful 3-year old shepherd hound mix. She is house trained and weighs 50 lbs. Gia is very good with children and everyone she meets.  She is being fostered in upstate NY. Her foster mom says, “Gia is the sweetest girl! She’s loving, affectionate, hilarious, smart and sensitive. She’s super quick to learn and the most eager to please. She’s potty trained, knows a bunch of commands (sit, paw, come etc) and has great recall. She is very polite, not destructive at all and just wants a loving home! She loves the car and would be an awesome road trip buddy. If you’re looking for a best friend who will always be by your side she’s your girl! Gia loves all people (especially kissing and hugging them!) and is quick to make friends. She can be a bit aggressive to other dogs when she’s on her leash, but so far has done well with a well socialized and patient pup in the backyard. She’s just as happy playing and going on long walks as cuddling and sleeping in, she is truly the dream! Don’t miss out on this absolute catch of a dog, if we could we would adopt her in a heartbeat ❤️.”  Gia is spayed, up to date on vaccines  and microchipped.

The adoption fee is $500.  We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence, for the safety of the dog.
