Poppy is a 12-week old, 15.5 lbs hound mix pup.  Despite being blind, she has an adventurous, fun personality and fearless spirit. She is being fostered in Riverhead, NY.   Her foster mom says, “Poppy is such a sweet girl!  Being blind does not slow her down. She comes when you call her and she can go up and down the stairs!  She gets along with other dogs, and is great around my young kids, ages 3 and 5, and she’s also good with cats.”  She would love to be adopted with her sister, Daisy.  If not, there would need to be another playful dog in the home. Poppy is vaccinated and microchipped.

The adoption fee is $675.  We require a fully fenced in yard and not an invisible fence, for the safety of the dog.
