If you are looking for that cute friend who will listen to your secrets and dreams for hours, always tells you that you can do anything you put your mind to and deserve only happiness in the world, look no further than Lane!  She is gorgeous, glossy black, super soft and is the goofball who will always make you smile. She can get distracted by a butterfly, chewing on her own foot, or the possibility of someone making a sandwich!  Lane LOVES to play, is curious and wants to learn everything!  However, she rushes in like most puppies, so she needs to be supervised because she will leap before looking! She would do great with a dog brother or sister! After playtime Lane is a solid napping partner; she will just mush into whatever space is closest to you and snooze happily until she is ready to have puppy playtime again! Could you be Lane’s forever home?

Lane is a ~17 week old, ~33 lbs lab shepherd mix puppy with an excellent disposition. She loves kids and playing with other dogs, so she’d really love a dog friend so much!  She is being fostered in Long Island, NY.  Her foster mom says: “Lanie would be an amazing addition to any family. She loves my pups but also follows me around. She is a bit of an instigator with playtime – she’ll need a playful fur sibling for sure!!  So a home with another friendly dog and NO cats would be ideal!!  She’s been doing fantastic with potty training. She’s quite smart and has already figured out she doesn’t get treats unless she sits – and we haven’t even started any sort of training. . She’s constantly whining and barking at her to play… but that ain’t happening. Lane is an incredible pup who will make any family very lucky!  She is vaccinated and microchipped.

The adoption fee is $675. We require adopters to have a securely fenced backyard. We do not adopt to applicants who have homes with either an invisible fence or no fence for the safety of our dogs.
