Charlie is a stunning 2-year old, 45 lbs hound mix. We rescued him from living outside in horrible conditions. He is being fostered in Bedford, NY. He is very sweet, just a little shy from not having much human attention. Charlie would do best in a quieter home with extremely patient humans who have extra time and love to give, another well adjusted dog as role model, and no toddlers. Although he has gotten better, Charlie is still afraid of people so his humans need to be really patient! He gets along well with all dogs, so having another dog in his home is a must! He loves all toys, especially chewy, noise ones! He is not the least bit aggressive at all; just shy and we think it’s best for him to become accustomed to adult humans before putting him with toddlers. NOTE: we cannot consider applications for the city because Charlie would not do well with hectic environment or the noise level. He is housebroken, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
