Lea

Lea is approximately 2 years old and weighs 47 lbs.  Lea was dumped when she was pregnant.  She wandered onto someone’s property looking for food and love.  They fed her but made her live outside and didn’t want to keep her or her puppies after they were born.  Her foster mom says, “Lea has been with us for a week! Initially she was very shy… she walked around with her tail tucked tightly between her legs and tried to hide under anything she could. A week has made a huge difference! She loves to chase her foster brother & sister around the yard and wrestle with them outside, just as much as she loves to cuddle up next to them on the couch inside the house. She is doing well with crate training now that she has gotten used to a schedule. She happily goes into her crate and sleeps through the night. I’m also happy to report that she hasn’t had a single accident since she arrived, so she appears to be housebroken. She has also been doing well with practicing walking on a leash! If you are looking for the perfect snuggle buddy to curl up next to you at every opportunity, Lea is the ideal pup for you! She is a true Velcro dog! Some things are still very scary for her, but she is making so much progress adjusting to life in our home! I’m honestly obsessed with her, she is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. I hope she finds the perfect forever home!” Because Lea is initially shy, she she would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog and children over the age of 12.  She is also not a candidate for the city since she is shy.

Her adoption fee is $500.  We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence.  Lea is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
